Tea in Full Bloom: the Best Flowering Teas
Our range of exquisite Flowering Teas are a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds. If you haven’t seen them, have a look at the selection and enjoy the spectacle! What may surprise you is the intricate work which goes into producing every single one.
How are blooming tea bulbs made?
Each bulb is crafted by Chinese artisans who encase the blooms with hand-tied tea leaves. Flowers including marigold and jasmine are used and, as the tea infuses the water, the flower unfurls to create a beautiful natural display.
How to drink blooming tea?
Be sure to use a glass cup or teapot to enjoy the effect at its most spectacular: the specially designed Newby cup incorporates a well to hold the bulb in place for this purpose. The men and women who create these delicate bulbs are masters in the craft, but even they can only produce a small number of bulbs per hour.
In fact, the contents of just one packet of 20 flowers would take almost an hour to make. As always, we paid attention to the details when creating this product.
It’s our insistence on only the most delicate leaves which makes our high-quality flowering teas so special.
Which flower tea is best?
Newby flowering tea offers a delightful array of options, each with its own unique blend of flavors and aromas. Whether you prefer the delicate notes of jasmine, the soothing qualities of chamomile, or the romantic essence of rose, Newby's selection has something to cater to every taste preference.
